About

After several years of blogging about random topics, I decided to start a blog that would have a central theme that I could relate to and share a lot about. Thus, Enchanting Earlobes was born.

My Story
Now, I wasn’t one of those girls who had their ears pierced once when they were really young and never looked back. No, my ear piercing days were troublesome and spread out over the years.

I can’t remember exactly when I first got my ears pierced but I know it was sometime in elementary school. Being the carefree child I was, I didn’t have the patience to clean my ears everyday or make sure my hair didn’t get tangled in them. I wanted to be adventurous and free without worrying about my ears. So, after a couple weeks, the holes filled in and my ears were no longer pierced.

My next attempt at ear piercing was even shorter. I believe it was sometime in middle school that I decided to try getting my ears pierced once again. For some reason, this time was much more painful and my ears got infected within days. I took this as a sign that having pierced ears was just not in the cards for me.

My final and, so far, successful attempt was in my second year of college. I broke down and went with my friend to Claire’s and got my ears pierced. While I liked clip-on earrings, I love to be able to choose from the plethora of regular earrings available.
